After President Obama so soundly defended his intellectual and policy credentials before the GOP, FOX had to approach denigrating President Obama from a different angle. Sean Hannity decided a great way to begin, and to further his goals with Republicans, included making a discussion introducing doubts and unfounded assertions about President Obama’s theological leanings.

President Obama, fresh off of taking on the GOP during their retreat, has a message from the man dubbed Fear-Monger-in-Chief, Glenn Beck. Now that President Obama has shown he can handle confrontation from the right, Beck claims the president should worry about the truly dangerous people — not Beck’s own listeners, but the left.

For years, Bill O’Reilly acted as the face of FOX News and the misinformation it perpetuates, but the arrival of Glenn Beck and his ilk may have signaled an even further right bend for FOX as Laura Ingraham recently chastised O’Reilly for writing kind words about the Christmas party at the White House. O’Reilly responded in kind.

Health-Care Scare Tactics: Peter Johnson Jr. Accuses President Obama of Scare Tactics, Forgets Conservative Fear Mongering

BuzzFlash readers know how Fox News and the right openly implement fear and hatred in attempts to derail the debate on health-care reform. In a startling fit of hypocrisy or an extremely short-term memory, Peter Johnson Jr. came onto Fox & Friends and accused President Barack Obama of employing “scare tactics” to pass health-care legislation.

To validate his point, Johnson cued up a video of President Obama suggesting that a lack of reform would only allow premiums to continue to rise and that Medicare and Medicaid would “blow a hole through our budget.” Johnson argued, “If that’s not fear and fright, then I don’t know what is.”

Fox School of Thought: Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Brit Hume Try to Grade and Fail the President

President Barack Obama’s choice to appear on Oprah Winfrey’s “Christmas at the White House” earned more than the expected ratings envy from the people at Fox News. They also decided to take the opportunity of Obama’s self-assessment of a B+ to express their usual disdain through their own grades, almost all failing.
