A major issue with referring to FOX News as “news” stems from their most prominent hosts’ refusal to stick to the facts, preferring to spin stories to fit a narrative rather than bothering to do research, but citing research in attack pieces based largely on innuendo. For the latest example of FOX creating a narrative from next to nothing, viewers need only look at how Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck treated the tragic university shooting in Alabama as a story secretly about the Democratic Party.
